Giving something back
Here at NFP we take pride in supporting the wider community, which is why we actively get involved. This year, we’re continuing our partnership with the Teenage Cancer Trust and Envision.
Supporting local charities
As well as making NFP a great place to work for our colleagues, we want to ensure that we are making a difference in our local communities too. That’s why we challenge all our people to make a commitment to local charities and community initiatives.

What is Envision?
Envision are a charity that brings together local businesses, schools, charities and volunteers to provide a practical learning experience which enables young people to develop the skills they need to succeed in work and life. In return, young people invest their time in developing projects which give back to the community.
Some of our people at NFP volunteered for their 12-week programme, collaborating and working as a team with a group of students. The NFP volunteers met with the students who decide on a community project they want to be involved with. Then. the students attended the office and we supported them by giving them confidence, advice on speaking to audiences. The students we mentored went on to win the award at the Envision programme final presentation evening.

Cycle to Paris
The NFP ‘Global Adventure Challenge’ London to Paris Cycle Team pushed themselves and their bikes to the limit, cycling 311 miles over five days, raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust and Make a Wish Ireland whilst drawing awareness to the More Than A Cyclist safety campaign. Our tremendous twelve smashed their fundraising target of £12,000 and bagged a whopping £26,000 for our charities.

UK Three Peaks Challenge
In 2019, we undertook the UK's Three Peaks Challenge for the Teenage Cancer Trust where we raised over £20,000 for the charity. NFP won the highly commended award "Hot Off the Mark" which is for new partners getting off to a flying start, was achieved when the team from NFP completed the UK's three peaks!
